Biden Blasts US As ‘International Embarrassment’ In New Gun-Control Executive Orders

Breitbart

on

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that he is issuing multiple executive orders to combat what he called a “public health crisis” and “international embarrassment” of gun violence in the United States.

Among Biden’s executive actions are directives for the Department of Justice to “stop the proliferation of ‘ghost gun’” building kits within 30 days by subjecting those who purchase them to regular firearm procedures such as background checks and serial numbers on the guns. Biden also gave the Justice Department 60 days to reclassifying pistols with stabilizing braces as short-barreled rifles and cited the recent shooting in Boulder, Colorado, as one example of how the braces could be abused to harm people. He also asked the department to publish an “annual report on firearms trafficking and annual updates necessary to give policymakers the information they need to help address firearms trafficking today.”

Other actions Biden suggested include publicizing model “red flag” legislation for states and Congress to evaluate implementing to “allow family members or law enforcement to petition for a court order temporarily barring people in crisis from accessing firearms if they present a danger to themselves or others.” Similarly, Biden recommended multiple federal agencies invest and engage in “evidence-based community violence interventions” around the nation funded by the president’s proposed “American Jobs Plan.”

During his announcement of the new gun regulations, Biden claimed he does not intend to infringe on anyone’s Second Amendment rights but warned that “no amendment to the Constitution is absolute.”

“You can’t yell ‘fire’ in a crowded movie theater and call it freedom of speech,” he said.

In addition to making false claims that buying a firearm at a gun show does not require a background check, Biden also called for a ban on high-capacity magazines and said that if he could pick one item to implement from his reform list, it would be allowing gun manufacturers to be sued.

“The idea that we have so many people dying every single day from gun violence in America is a blemish on our character as a nation,” Biden said.

Vice President Kamala Harris also weighed in, claiming these proposed actions are “reasonable” and need to be passed by Congress.

“I have fought my entire career to end this violence and to pass reasonable gun safety laws. Time and again, as progress has stalled, we have all asked — what are we waiting for? Because we aren’t waiting for a tragedy. I know that,” Harris said.

Biden also announced his intent to name David Chipman, an anti-gun group adviser, to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), where he used to work as a special agent. Shortly before his nomination, Chipman locked his Twitter account, most likely in an effort to prevent journalists and others from discovering any politically charged tweets that sank previous Biden nominees.

Daily Mail: Laptop Reveals Hunter Biden Used N-Word Multiple Times in Text Messages

Breitbart

The Daily Mail reports:

The president’s son joked in a January 2019 text to corporate attorney George Mesires about a ‘big penis’, and said to the lawyer: ‘I only love you because you’re black’ and ‘true dat n***a’.

In another text a month earlier he wrote to the Chicago lawyer saying: ‘how much money do I owe you. Becaause (sic) n***a you better not be charging me Hennessy rates.’

Mesires replied: ‘That made me snarf my coffee.’

Hunter added: ‘That’s what im saying ni…’, cutting off the racial slur mid-word, then texted a picture to Mesires.

In addition to the text messages, Hunter’s laptop is said to contain a meme depicting his father and former President Barack Obama, which included a racist slur.

The meme is a photo of Biden hugging Obama with the following caption:

‘Obama: Gonna miss you, man

‘Joe: Can I say it? Just this once?

‘Obama: *sigh* go ahead

‘Joe: You my n***a, Barack’

Hunter’s laptop, which he reportedly abandoned at a Delaware shop in April 2019, created a firestorm of controversy for his father during the 2020 election. Emails on the laptop’s hard drive are said to have shown that then-Vice President Biden held a meeting with a high-ranking official at Burisma, the Ukrainian energy giant which Hunter Biden previously served as a board member. Yet, the president has denied any involvement in his son’s business dealings, despite the clear evidentiary contradictions.

Neither Biden nor Mesires have issued a statement regarding the purported text messages.

The Daily Mail‘s report comes as Biden has made social justice a larger focus of his presidency. Last week, Biden delivered a speech commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa massacre, during which roughly 300 black people were killed by white people in Oklahoma.

Biden vowed to combat racism in the U.S. by enacting police reform on the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death last month, meeting with the Floyd family at the White House.

“We have to act,” the president said in a statement after meeting with the Floyd family. “We face an inflection point. The battle for the soul of America has been a constant push and pull between the American ideal that we’re all created equal and the harsh reality that racism has long torn us apart. At our best, the American ideal wins out.”

America First Has Taken Over the GOP in Arizona – Those Not on the Train Are Being Replaced or Are Resigning

Gateway Pundit

Because of President Trump’s America First agenda, his supporters are remaking the Republican party a little bit at a time with the help of author Dan Schultz, who instructs people how to become neighborhood team leaders or Precinct Committeemen.

This week was an interesting development in Legislative District 15 in Arizona, where there were so many ‘American Firsters’ who have recently joined the AZGOP who are fans of Schultz’s book, that they have run for office and driven some old-timers out, creating an ‘America First’ voting majority in the Republican party there.

Here is the resignation letter from the old-timers, who, according to their letter, do not like the idea of the new ‘America First’ Committeemen:

Dear Member,

TRENDING: BREAKING: Ruby Freeman’s Daughter Election Supervisor Wandrea Shaye Moss Is Subpoenaed for Deposition in Fulton County GA

Regrettably, we must inform you that all members of the LD15 Board are resigning their positions effective June 1, 2021. This Board has successfully worked to provide quality meetings in an appropriate facility with content usable for our fellow precinct committeemen and precinct committeewomen to engage their neighbors. Each Board member faces personal circumstances that make carrying out their volunteer duties on the Board difficult. It is true that part of that difficulty is the increasingly antagonistic environment that has been created by new membership that prevents us from fully serving ALL members of the Republican Party within LD15. We remain dedicated to the traditional ideals of the Party and appreciate the opportunity to serve.

An eyewitness, who supplied the letter to Schultz told him that the people who took over were fans of the Committeeman Project Strategy  and that ” on Tuesday night the RINO officers resigned en masse, and said they don’t like the new people.”

Schultz’s project has been around for a few years and it making some real impact the last few months with his recent appearances and news coverage.

The story was carried in the American Independent Daily who reported:

As with all political parties after the loss of the Oval Office, Arizona’s GOP is no different. According to the numbers recently released by the Secretary of State’s Office, the GOP is growing, and that growth has unsettled some of the more established members.

A recent exodus by the heads of Legislative District 15 is one such example of how the new blood is shaking out the old.

Legislative District 15, a primarily upper-middle-class area that includes parts of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, has long been a bastion of what the grassroots refer to as “the establishment.” President Donald Trump changed the old dynamic, and while many members of “the establishment” welcomed the change, the hardcore neocon faction of the GOP, sometimes referred to as the ‘McCain Machine, did not.

HOW BIG WAS THE CHANGE?

According to Schultz, after the August 2020 primary, LD 15 only had 38% of its Precinct Committeeman slots filled.  Currently, about 41% are filled. That much was too much for the board members to tolerate.

The eyewitness told Schultz that virtually all of the new people are there because his activism, appearances and book on the tactics of how to remake the Republican party to work for America.

North Carolina County Bans Coca-Cola Vending Machines After Company Rebuked Georgia’s Election Law

In response to Coca-Cola taking issue with the Georgia election security law passed in March, a county in North Carolina took steps to prohibit Coca-Cola vending machines in office buildings.

Surry County in North Carolina banned machines last week. The county’s longest-serving commissioner, Eddie Harris, called out the company for being too “woke.”

“The left-wing in America, they defund, they boycott, they cancel, they tear down statues — all sorts of egregious actions,” Harris said in an interview with a local NBC news affiliate. “The expectation from them is the opposing political side will cower in the corner and we’re supposed to accept that and it’s supposed to be OK. And it’s not OK.”

In a 3 to 2 vote, the GOP-controlled commissioners voted in the affirmative to remove the machines in the future. In addition to discontent with how the company reacted to SB 202, Harris penned a letter to Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“Millions of Americans believe that the last presidential election was not held in a fair manner and that more voter fraud will occur in the future if elections are not closely monitored and regulated,” Harris wrote. The commissioner said he supports adequate election security measures like the one Georgia passed because the 2020 election was “such a mess.”

The Georgia bill mandates voter identification for absentee ballots, among other uncontroversial provisions. Democrats were angered over a portion of the bill that prohibits a poll officer from handing out water to voters, communicating the false narrative that the law bans people from drinking water while waiting in line to vote.

A spokesperson for Coca-Cola Consolidated, a bottling company affiliated with the parent company, told a local news outlet the company plans to initiate a meeting with the county commissioners.

Several corporations virtue-signaled about the Georgia bill prior to and after its passage. Two hundred companies signed a letter in April, declaring, “We call on elected leaders in every state capitol and in Congress to work across the aisle and ensure that every eligible American has the freedom to easily cast their ballot and participate fully in our democracy.”

Coca-Cola did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.
