Just WOW! Weakling Kevin McCarthy Put Pro-Impeachment RINO John Katko on Jan. 6 CommitteeJim Hoft
In January Rep. John Katko (R-NY) was one of only 10 Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump over media lies, smears and innuendos.
Katko went to the House floor and urged Republican members to impeach President Trump before the president left office.
Katko lied about Officer Sicknick’s death like fellow Democrats did.
So it is truly shocking that weakling GOP leader Kevin McCarthy deputized Katco to make a deal on the Jan. 6 Commission with the Pelosi gang, knowing that Katco had voted to impeach President Trump.
This is absolutely outrageous!
Politico reported:
McCarthy initially empowered one of his allies, moderate Rep. John Katko of New York, to cut a bipartisan deal with his Democratic counterpart on an independent, 9/11 style commission to investigate the deadly Capitol riots. But when Katko ultimately struck an agreement, which included most of McCarthy’s demands, the GOP leader balked at the plan.
Ultimately, 35 Republicans joined Democrats in approving the commission in the vote Wednesday evening. But the day was full of intraparty drama for the GOP, as McCarthy worked to lessen defections from moderate members of his party.
